EKKO announces deal with EMI to offer music on audio-enhanced imaging and gift products.

Westport, CT, 05/11/07 — EKKO Technologies announced a deal today with EMI Music Publishing, to license songs for inclusion on EKKO-enhanced products including audio-enhanced gift cards and imaging products including prints,., photo albums and gifts.

“In terms of capturing moments and memories, songs carry a lot of emotional impact. As an enabler for retailers, EKKO is excited to include EMI master recordings among the options we offer retailers who want to give customers the ability to  create unique, personalized audio-enhanced products on–demand.” said EKKO President Andrew Barer.

EKKO plans to offer select songs from the EMI library to those businesses using its patented audio-enhancement technologies in the products they offer their customers.

Details of the EKKO-EMI deal have not been made public.
